I hope the following will give you some insight not only into who I am as a person but also what is important to me in business and what you can expect from me through my commitment to you when working in the Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Market.
When my mother thought I was old enough ;-) I moved back to Michigan which is where I began my inevitable career in the sales industry. In 1993, I began working as a mortgage broker. It was a great job however I decided to go into real estate as it was a better fit for me because when I put the client first and saved them money it was a good thing! I grew up around a family of Realtors and I had always said I would never be a Realtor! To my surprise, I immediately felt I was born to be in real estate. I started my career with the Rookie of the Year award and have never looked back. My primary focus has been and is on listening to each individual client’s needs and wants then educating them on the buying/selling process, market trends, and anything else required to help them make the best decision whether it is a primary residence or an investment property. I am experienced in all aspects of the real estate transaction. As the Broker and Owner of Solid Rock Realty and Solid Rock Mortgage you can expect complete openness, honesty, and transparency throughout the entire transaction and afterward from me and anyone who is a part of the Solid Rock Family. We always work in a manner that builds clients for life. If at any moment you ever feel you have received less than this I am always available to speak with you. I am here to serve you! We are here to serve you!
When not working, I love to have fun. I live my passions. I love to fly planes, ride dirt bikes, go boating, and spend time with people building honest and real relationships. I like to do crazy things (once) like jumping out of planes, hovering helicopters, and flying a Russian mig fighter jet. My sincere desire for more information and to know people better has developed into a love for travel that has taken me around the world to places like Prague, Israel, the Panama Canal and many times to Italy. I look forward to getting to know you throughout your buying/selling process and well afterwards.

I was born in Detroit, Michigan. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Mississippi and spent my growing up years in the beauty and simplicity of the south. Basketball was my love at the time. The first year I played high school basketball we won the state championship. The next we came in second by only one point and my senior year we won again. I was named to the all-state team all three years. It was really a lot of fun and it taught me many valuable life lessons. One of the most vivid is that while it was great to receive my own honors it didn’t mean that much the year we lost because, as a team, we lost. I put my team first. From there I went on to college through an academic and basketball scholarships where I studied Mathematics and Computer Science to become a teacher and a coach. I believed I could make math fun and thereby make a difference in people’s lives. Laughing. I am sure better people than me tried to make math fun.
